Program Description:
MAHUBE-OTWA is actively recruiting a Family Health Provider for Family Health programs. Family Health offers a variety of reproductive and sexual health services, including: physical exams for all, Pap tests and pelvic exams, birth control counseling/prescriptions, IUD and implant insertions, Depo-Provera shot injections, STI, HIV, pregnancy testing, Gardasil vaccination counseling and injections.
- Schedule: Casual or Part-Time. Weekly, Monday-Thursdays. 3-6 hour clinic schedules
- Locations: Detroit Lakes, Perham, Fergus Falls, Morris, University of MN Morris, Fergus Falls, Wadena, Long Prairie, Pine River
Qualification Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, or Physician Assistant
- Master's Degree level Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant program with current National Board Certification and MN license to practice in the Advanced Practice role.
- Ability to obtain/ maintain DEA Certification for the State of MN
- Be approved or eligible by the Minnesota Board of Nursing for prescription writing privileges
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal midwife training program, Certification through the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM)
- Be approved or eligible by the Minnesota Board of Nursing for prescription writing privileges
